Who We Are

Prairie Vista Middle School, home of the Coyotes, is a collaborative and inclusive learning community in Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD.
 
Serving students in grades 6–8, Prairie Vista is a place where relationships matter, expectations are high, and every student is encouraged to reach their full potential in an evolving world.

 

Our Mission

The mission of Prairie Vista Middle School is to foster a culture of excellence that instills a passion for learning and continuous achievement in every student. Through meaningful relationships with students, parents, the community, and each other, we empower learners to compete and thrive in an ever-changing world.

Our History

Prairie Vista Middle School opened its doors in August 2007.

Over the years, the school has embraced a growing and diverse student population, building a vibrant school identity centered on relationships, ownership, and teamwork. The school’s culture-rich environment reflects a deep commitment to student voice and community involvement.


 

The Community We Serve

Prairie Vista Middle School serves students in grades 6–8 from a diverse group of EMS ISD elementary schools and is part of a shared feeder pattern leading to two high schools. Our campus supports student growth at all stages through strong academic foundations and community partnerships.
